HISTORY : RAIDER EDDIE and THE SWINGING SKELETONES, as THE NEW ENGLAND RADIATORS, has been thrilling crowds throughout New England since the early 80's. The band has opened for many national acts including Wilson Pickett, Tower of Power, NRBQ, Roomful of Blues, The Average White Band, Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, James Montgomery, Southside Johnny, The Heavy Metal Horns, and J.Giels.

On OCTOBER 24th 1998, RAIDER EDDIE and the SWINGING SKELETONES played the first gig under their new name at Theodore's in Springfield, MA. The night was a CD release party for the band. The six song CD is a collection of Soul and Blues tunes by Otis Redding, Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Boz Scaggs, The Grass Roots, and Raider Eddie and the Skeletones.

Flash ! Dateline 11/9/99

This past weekend RAIDER EDDIE sailed his pirate ship to Nantucket, with the BULL HORNS and the SKELETONES aboard, to the band's second official gig at the "Internationally Infamous Pleasure Asylum" known as the (Chicken) Box. Birthday Boy Bizerkowitz and the BULL HORNS set the jitterbuggers on fire, leaving a charred ruin ! The band is plotting a return early in '99.

On April 22nd Raider Eddie was taken into custody
for causing a riot at the Polish Club in Greenfield, Massachusetts
"Just another day at the office !!
The Skeletones tore the roof off the joint that night !" related Eddie in Morse Code.
"Actually incarceration has been the best thing for me...
I got to catch up with all my old friends from the Polish Club, awake in a familiar and clean location, eat regularly, and wrote a tune. Mayor of Greenfield and also Skelotone drummer Dave K, masterminded the controversial SAXOFFENDER PROGRAM of which Raider Eddie is the pilot subject: "Greenfield Fans demand Raider Eddie--we would have total chaos and complete mayhem if we did not allow him to perform. However our small town would soon disappear right off the map with unregulated Eddie. We must protect Eddie from his rabid fans. When he does perform, we have SWAT teams on hand to take Eddie out and whisk him away before the mob loses control. This way Eddie can practice his art in a protected enviroment."

Called in at the last minute, the Bull Horns filled in for the Radio Hornsection with the famous Bellvue Cadillac Band@ the Famous Mt. Snow Brewer's Fest. Dr. Bellvue immediately signed the horns to play at the Windows of the World nightclub at the Top of the World Trade Center on Saturday September 9th. More dates expected........
