Known as New England's Most Dangerous Rhythm & Blues Roadhouse Band, Raider Eddie & the Skeletones have been on the local music scene since the 1970's as the Doctors and the Radiators.
Raider Eddie & the Skeletones were formed in 1999 by Ted Wirt and Peter McNeaney. The Skeletones are an eight piece band that performs Rhythm & Blues, Rock & Roll, and Jazz Rock at clubs, resorts, and private functions throughout New England and the Northeast.
Along with the Bull Horns and saxophonist/vocalist Donna-Lee DePrille, the Skeletones cover a variety of artists including Van Morrison, Santana, James Brown, Etta James, Wilson Pickett, Steely Dan, the Blues Brothers, Tower of Power, Chicago, Allman Brothers, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and more.
The Skeletones have performed with artists such as John Hiatt, Roomful of Blues, Wilson Pickett, NRBQ, James Montgomery, Tower of Power, the J. Giels Band, Southside Johnny, Marie Osmond, and Charles Neville.
